Back To School
It's that time of year again.
Whether you are still in school or not, this time of year is the perfect time to stock your wardrobe for fall since all of the stores have great back to school sales going on over the next few weeks.
If you are scouting out some new items to add to your closet, here is a list of my essentials:
A great bag-whether a bookbag or a tote for work, it will feel great to get rid of your old bag and organize and purge your belongings in a crisp new bag.
A new pair of flats or pumps- the best part of going back to school was getting a new pair of shoes. Get yourself a new pair of everyday, PRACTICAL shoes....and maybe a pair or two of a not so practical shoe, you know...for networking events.
Supplies- sitting at a desk all day, you need pretty things to bump you out of a boring mood. Buy some colorful notebooks and pens and take the time to get your desk and your life back in order. Now is a great time to purchase new electronics-get that ipad you've had your eye on for a long time, otherwise you'll have to wait until Christmas for another good deal.
Clothing- pick up a few staple pieces that will be a part of your fall rotation- a great blazer, some solid color tops, and a new pair of pants.
Beauty supplies: To prevent bacteria build up, you should have your beauty supplies on a rotation. Be sure to grab some new foundation and mascara and check the expiration date on your other make up. You should also take this time to clean out your bag and be sure to clean all of your brushes!

The safari trend is the perfect transition from Summer to Fall. With neutral colors, but light weight materials, this fashion will take you from hot summer nights into cool autumn weekends.

Let's Party S'more
Now that August is here, people are realizing that summer is coming to an end. For a fun get together, try a s'more themed party!
S'mores are an easy, summer snack and everyone loves them!
Pull out the fire pit, grab your marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers and you are ready to go!
If outside isn't practical, set up a s'more bar at the venue of your choice. Light a few sturno cans for toasting and lay out your ingredients bar style.

S'more-tini
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3 ounce(s) (Marshmellow Vodka/Whipped Cream Vodka/)
- 1 ounce(s) (Godiva Chocolate Liquer/ Creme de Cacao) , Alternative Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 dash(es) Jim Beam (optional), Charcoal Flavor
- 1 squirt(s) Chocolate Syrup , Around Rim
- 1 tablespoon(s) Crushed Graham Cracker, Around Rim
Directions
- Chill A Martini Glass w/ ice or from freezer.
- Fill Mixing Cup With Ice
- Add Ingredients one(marshmellow vodka), two(chocolate liqueur), & three(Jim Beam (optional)) to mixing cup.
- Shake Well
- (dump ice) Use chilled martini glass & roll the rim in chocolate syrup and then in the crushed graham cracker.
- Strain ingredients from mixing cup into martini glass & serve.
- Optional: Garnish with a skewered fire roasted mini marshmellow. (roast with mini torch)

Heartland Underdog Wardrobe sale.
Last Friday, Bronx Diba set up a table at the Heartland Underdog Wardrobe Sale
This was a fun event held at a downtown loft which was hosted by ALIVE Magazine. Along with a ton of awesome appetizers, several people brought clothes, purses, shoes, and accessories to sell. Proceeds from the event benefited the Fashion Fund. The night was full of eating, drinking, and of course shopping! Everyone enjoyed trying on all of the clothes and hanging out.
