Dbl A night

My best friend Ali and I have been friends for 20 years now and have been through EVERYTHING together. When we go out, we have our Double A night. Where just the two of us go out to talk, have some drinks and just take the time to have fun and not worry about everything else that is going on in the world.

We both have had a lot going on recently and our DBL A night was long over due. Some of my best memories are when there are no plans and we just go with the flow of the evening. We recently went out for one of her friends birthdays and had a blast.

There is nothing more relaxing than a good girls night out.

Yesterday marked the 5th anniversary of when we found Tanner, my cat-child, in the wood pile out side of our house.  The cute little ball of fur is now a 15 pound  fat cat that steals tortilla chips and donuts when we aren't looking.

20 years of friendship

I met my best friend when I was 5 years old.
We had just moved into our new house when these two girls came walking down the street. One girl yelled from across the street..." HI, Im Ali, do you want to come play?" and that was the beginning of it all. We survived school, moves, our parents divorces, babies, living together, boyfriends and so much more. Even though we don't see each other or talk as much as we probably should, we have some how made it through it all. 20 years later, my friend, is my sister and I can't imagine my life without her.

Happy birthday girl. I can't believe we are 25. Here's to another 20 years of double A nights and getting old together!
