Jamberry Nail Lacquer
Jamberry is in the midst of releasing some new products to their line. The first is for the nail polish junkie, with their new collection of nail lacquer. In 12 new colors, along with a base coat and 3 top coat finishes, I am super excited to try out this new product.
A few select consultants were chosen to try our the product and they all have nothing but positive feed back so far.
What makes Jamberry so different from the other salon polish?
5 free and salon quality with a great assortment of colors, Jamberry prides itself of hassle free, no chip nails, I can only imagine that this quick drying lacquer will hold up as long as your Jamberry Manicure.
Are you willing to try out this new polish?

Did you spot the new addition? Jamberry will release their new nail lacquer this October. If their polish looks as good as the wraps do, I swear I'll never purchase another brand again.

Ultimate Wrap Challenge
Would you take the ultimate wrap challenge?
This is one of my favorite things to see. This challenge is the exact reason I began selling Jamberry Nails. I tried one sample of Jamberry, to use as a statement nail, and painted the rest with my favorite nail polish. By the end of day one, my polish had already chipped and by day 3 was almost gone, but my Jamberry nail looked brand new.
Since there are so many new nail stickers/wraps on the market, people always wonder why they should purchase Jamberry over the other brands.
The picture above shows wraps from: OPI, Avon, Sally Hensen, Jamberry and Essie. As you can see, by day 4, almost all of the other brands were chipped/gone, but Jamberry looks new. This is because Jamberry is NOT polish based. Jamberry uses a state of the art vinyl/adhesive product that lets the nails stay on for up to two weeks. Since there is not polish, the wraps will stay useable for up to a year ( maybe longer), with the other brands, once you open the package the polish dries out with in 48 hours.

Trend to Watch: Holograph
The holographic trend has been hiding under the radar, but I think we will see it become very popular this fall.
Holograph clothing and accessories are starting to pop up on many of the trend forecasting websites, on celebrities and are gaining traction on social media.
I tried holographic nail art a few months ago and I loved it!
What to you think about all of the holograms? Is this a trend you would try?

Summer Nail Trends
Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that nail art is THE craze right now. From texture to 3d bows, to intricate designs, nail art is here to stay.
Here are some of my favorite nail trends for summer:
Black and white: from clothes to shoes, to nails, Black and white is carrying into the summer.
Statement nails and chevron: Cheveron is probably one of the hottest trends right now and looks awesome when worn as a statement nail with a more toned down color
Pastel: these subdued colors will have you feeling pretty in no time.

Ombre: you can do any mixture of colors but this light to dark, or two tone trend is a must have.
Paint splatter: It looks fun and artsy and will draw attention from tons of admirers.
Nautical: It's only natural to think of playing in the water when it comes to summer. Try out a nautical inspired print like anchors, stripes and sailboats for this trend.

Summer essentials
Summer is quickly approaching and as the weather is warming up, here are my summer must-haves.
Clothing- A great pair of crisp white shorts, loose flowy tops in jersey fabrics, a great solid maxi. These three items can be worn casual or dressed up quickly with a change of shoes and jewelry. Bikinis are great to mix and match your favorite styles year after year. I always shop the clearance rack off season so I have a ton of different combinations to use the next year.
Accessories- a tote, throw all of your items in for the pool or beach, or use it for your everyday bag. Sandals- this nude pair from Diba true comes with bright piping that can be worn with almost any outfit. Don't forget about a hat and sunnies for sun protection.
Beauty- Sunscreen, a great bronzer (I LOVE Rimmel's bronzer and it is only $4!), Lip Balm and a bright funky mani by Jamberry!

Jamberry Nail Art Studio
This spring Jamberry debuted a customized nail art program called nail art studio. Have you ever been on pinterest and saw some amazing nail art that you wish you could do, but in your attempt, it looks like you let your 3 year old niece have a hay-day on your fingers? I think we all have been there!
Nail Art Studio is easy as 1,2,3. Just snap a pic of your favorite image or design inspiration, upload it to NAS, move/shrink to fit, and buy!
These customized wraps can be used to match your favorite rug, put your kids squishy little face on your hands, or even be used for a school fundraiser! To top it off, they are applied exactly the same way as any other Jamberry nail-just use heat and pressure!
Check out NAS here!

How to Apply Jamberry Nails
Application Instructions
To apply Jamberry, you need just a few tools:
A blow dryer or personal mini heater
cuticle pusher
scissors
nail clippers
nail file
alcohol wipes or nail polish remover (without moisturizers)
Instructions:
-Prep you nails like you would for any normal manicure. Push back your cuticles, file and shape your nails.
-Clean unpolished nails with alcohol or nail polish remover
-open your Jamberry Nails package and match the nail (finger or toe) to the wrap that best fits. It should not touch any of your skin. If the wrap doesn't perfectly fit your nail you can cut it down, but a smaller wrap will stay on much longer if it doesn't touch any skin.
-Peel nail wrap off clear backing and warm with blow dryer or mini heater for 3-5 seconds or until the shield becomes soft and flexible. You will begin to see this change pretty quickly. If you over heat the wrap, it will curl up on its self and become unusable.
-When warm, press the wrap onto the nail. Smooth down the center of your nail with a cuticle pusher, then smooth down the sides.
-apply firm pressure around the edges to adhere the wrap to the nail.
-use cuticle pusher to seal the wrap around the base of the cuticle.
-trim the top with scissors and trim wrap to remove excess.
-apply heat and pressure to the wrap again until it is bonded to the nail. This is the best time to smooth out any bubbles with your cuticle pusher.
-Trim off any remaining excess wrap at the top of your nail with clippers. You can also file in a downward motion to smooth out the nail edge.

The Story of Jamberry Nails
The
story of Jamberry Nails begins with three sisters. After an expensive
afternoon together at the nail salon, Lyndsey, Christy and Keri vowed to
find a simpler, more cost effective way to keep their hands looking
polished, while still spending time together.
After lots of trial and error, Jamberry Nails launched in late 2010. The DIY, at-home application and incredible variety of designs caught on quickly and sales soared. A new era of nail art was born through in home parties and vendor fairs.
Our apply-at-home nail wraps are made from an innovative material, that doesn't chip, doesn't have to dry and doesn't require a trip to the salon.
